Vision Now PARTNERS IN EDUCATION (PiE) TOOLKIT
Lakeland’s vision for high quality educational opportunities can only be realized through cooperation and collaboration. This month’s Listen Lakeland Show highlights a new collaborative initiative called Partners in Education (PiE) – a toolkit for school and community partnerships. Join host, Amy Wiggins and guests Dr. William Allen (Polk County Public Schools) and Cathryn Lacy (Lakeland Electric) as they discuss the importance of distilling down the language barrier between the business community and the education community and how these relationships help support a system in which all students are ready to learn!
