Vision Now Lakeland History & Culture Center

The August Listen Lakeland Show features the upcoming Lakeland History and Culture Center which will be located in the heart of Lakeland at the main public Library on Lake Morton.  Join host and Lakeland Vision Board Member, Rick Maxey, as he sits down with Gow Fields, Chairman of the Lakeland History & Culture Center and Luann Mims who is the Librarian Supervisor for the Lakeland History and Culture Center.  Together they discuss the importance of capturing our city’s common history which has made Lakeland what it is today.  The Lakeland History and Culture Center is a dedicated exhibit and research space that shares inclusive stories of Lakeland in harmony with all those who have contributed, and continue to contribute, to its culturally diverse history.
