Join Carole Philipson and Kathy Ammon for their discussion about the Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) program which seeks to advocate for the best interest of abused, neglected or abandoned children.  Their Mission statement is “I am for the Child” and each program volunteer gives children a voice and serves as the eyes and ears of the court.  The ultimate goal is to restore hope and change the story for every child in the dependency system.  The GAL program is currently serving 1,124 children and has 368 active volunteers.  Any one interested in becoming a guardian can contact Kathy at (863) 534-2531 or go to www.Becomeaguardian.com.
