Many of us only interact with Lakeland Electric to pay our bill or to ask when our power will be restored after a storm. With the beginning of hurricane season, Lakeland Vision board member Amy Wiggins sat down with Lakeland Electric staffers to learn how they’re preparing for storms, the impacts technology has on the industry for consumers and providers, plans for increased sustainability and more.
