Katherine Fitzwater, United Way of Central Florida

Katherine Fitzwater is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for United Way of Central Florida. Prior to coming to United Way of Central Florida in 2019, Katherine worked for Curious Jane a local advertising agency where she managed print and digital marketing efforts for clients nationwide. With a passion for serving her community, Katherine has served on the board of the Junior League of Greater Lakeland since 2016 and LkldNow since 2021. Katherine has served on committees for Explorations V Children’s Museum, the Polk Museum of Art and EMERGE Lakeland and is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXXIV. Katherine has a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida and is a recipient of six American Advertising Federation of Polk County awards.
