Judges Announced for the Cardboard Boat Challenge

16th Annual Lakeland Cardboard Boat Challenge and Lakes Festival

We are honored to announce the following community leaders have agreed to judge this family event. With so many teams registering each day, judging the challenge is, well, quite a challenge. But these three ladies are up to it.

Thank you, Christina Camp from the City of Lakelands Communications Department, Amy Wiggins, Executive Director for the Imperial Symphony Orchestra and Johnna Martinez, Grants Manager for the GiveWell Community Foundation. Overall judging is based upon “speed”, how fast you can make it around the course and not sink. Judges will hand out awards for design and construction and of course, the Titanic Award.
