Lakeland Vision + Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Joint Education Committee Mtg. – 4/14/2026

The Lakeland Vision + Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Joint Education Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 14th at 9:30 a.m.  The meeting will take place at the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce in the Briefing Room.  This committee’s purpose ad alignment include:

• • Connects business + education to strengthen Lakeland’s talent pipeline.
  • Supports Lakeland Vision’s Lifelong Education & Jobs for a Vibrant Economy Focus Areas.
  • Advances Chamber’s Accelerate 2030: Prepared Talent, Engaged Leaders, Prosperous Community.

Tuesday’s meeting will focus on the Education Committee’s alignment with the Florida Chamber Prosperity Initiative and how the group can move from conversation to coordinated action.  Discussion will focus on the biggest barriers affecting student success in Lakeland right now and how focusing on specific ZIP codes will allow more effective alignment of resources, partnerships and strategies.
