The Lakeland Vision Board of Directors will not be meeting on Thursday, November 4th to allow for all LV committees to come together and focus on their year end goals. The full board will return for a meeting on December 2nd at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom.
The Lakeland Vision Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom. The board will vote on the 2021-2022 Nominating Committee members, discuss changes to the Listen Lakeland Show with new production manager, Andrew Gash, and receive an update on the fundraising effort/goal.
The next Lakeland Vision Board Meeting will take place on Thursday, November 4th. The board meets on the first Thursday of every month (with the exception of January and July).
Lakeland Vision’s Age Friendly Lakeland Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, August 25th at 11:00 a.m. Committee members will meet virtually via Zoom. The Lakeland Vision Board of Directors will hold their monthly board meeting on June 3, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom. In addition to regular business, the board will review the outcomes of the 2021 annual board retreat that was held on May 6th. The outcomes will review the new priorities for the 2021-2022 year. The priorities will come with action items for Lakeland Vision committees to take on over the next 12 months.
There is no board meeting the month of July. The board returns on August 5th.

Lakeland Vision will hold its annual board retreat on Thursday, May 6th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This meeting will be virtual. Input from the public is always welcome in relation to vision priority suggestions for the Lakeland community. The Lakeland Vision Document with all the related goals can be found the Lakeland Vision Website. Input can be submitted to Laura Rodriguez, Executive Director, lrodriguez@lakelandvision.org.

Lakeland Vision is proud of the 11 female board members and one female executive director who work together to lead our organization into the future. International Women’s Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.

The Age Friendly Lakeland Committee Leadership Team will meet on Wednesday, January 20th at 11:00a.m. via ZOOM. The team will discuss plans for the August 26th AFL Committee meeting and will strategically plan for 2021. Lakeland Vision Board Member, Liz Craven, serves as the AFL Chairwoman and the AFL Coordinator is Allie Bates.
